Hello!

Thanks to all of you who continue to follow and support my writing endeavors. Since MIRROR OF OPPOSITION was released in 2010, I've ventured into the convention circuit and have found a modicum of success, enough that the tours continue throughout this year, and I'm now at a point where I'm being invited back to past conventions as a guest author.

When I published MIRROR OF OPPOSITION, I had no intentions of attending conventions, but after a few local book signings, I thought, "why not"? A year and a half later, I'm heading to my 12th convention soon! The highlight thus far was being on the same card as Stan Lee and William Shatner last year at MegaCon 2011 (you can hear a radio interview from that convention on my homepage). What a fun journey it's been to meet so many wonderful people along the way.

With that, I am hard at work on MIRROR OF CHAOS, the sequel to MIRROR OF OPPOSITION. I am bringing Ronin, Makato and Obladi back for more adventures together. My goal is to finish it this year, so stay tuned!

I hope you're all doing well. I noticed it's been a while since I posted on this forum board so I wanted to send a note and let everyone know I'm doing well and have continued with the convention circuit to meet and greet current and future fans of my books. Today I'm writing from Orlando, FL, where OASIS 24 is taking place and I'm a special guest. This is more of a SCI FI crowd (vs. high fantasy), but I'm hopeful to pick up a few potential readers and get some sales. Regardless, it's just fun to be a part of it all. I enjoy meeting the other authors and networking with those who have a love for the genre.

On my homepage I have a radio show interview I did at MEGACON a few months ago, so be sure to check that out. It was a lot of fun. That particular convention attracted 50,000 fans! :)-D

Well, I've been bitten by the CON bug ... so I've started attending some SCI-FI & FANTASY CONVENTIONS as a guest author, and my books have been selling well enough for me to plan for future conventions to attend.

I just attended the ANCIENT CITY CON in Jacksonville, FL (7/10-11) and had a great time meeting fans and other artists / authors. I would encourage you to attend one yourself if you haven't already, as you can find some great deals, as well as get up close and personal with all the various artists / authors that are attending.

I'm planning to attend NECRONOMICON in St. Petersburg, FL (10/22-24). Would love to see you there!

It's been a few months since I have posted so I thought I would check-in and let you know how things are progressing.

Mirror of Opposition is nearly finished. The artist, Charles Urbach, has had a few interruptions from our original timeline (both personally and professionally) that has delayed production from our original timeline. I was hopeful the book would be available for the holidays, but now it's looking like February, 2010 will be its official launch date. I apologize for keeping you waiting - but I sincerely appreciate your patience and support!

If you keep checking back, go to the ARTWORK section of the website and you'll see the progress Charles has made on both the front and back covers. He created separate illustrations (vs. one giant picture) and then integrated them into a cohesive layout by adding all the title text work and spine design for the finishing touches. It's been an exciting process to watch unfold!

My goal is to start marketing and advertising the book 1Q10, so if you know of anyone who might be interested, please pass along my website for them to check out. I will be offering limited edition signed copies of Mirror of Opposition by both Charles and myself if you order through me. I have a PAYPAL service on this website which is probably the easiest way to do business, so check it out when you have the chance.

Finally took a moment to check out your new website. I never realized how in to comics you were. I am looking forward to the book as well as the visuals from Charles Urbach.
